Position Summary
The Dispatcher will coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective as a company. They will determine the most cost-effective delivery options with customers and the most efficient routes with drivers, all while answering phones when drivers need assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Key interface between the company and your assigned drivers
- Provide world class customer service at all times
- Diagnosing and resolving operational issues timely
- Strong customer service skills; ability to diffuse both driver and client frustrations and ability to develop compromises that keep all parties successful
- Ability to use logic and problem-solving skills
- Advocate of safe driving and a safety-first culture
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Ability to handle stressful situations with a smile
- Effective email management skills
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
