Maintenance Technician II
We are pleased to recruit for a company offering industrial gases and related services to a variety of customers including those in large industry, industrial manufacturing, electronics and healthcare marketplaces. With more than 200 U.S. locations, including more than 140 industrial gas plants, this company is expanding and seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Southfield, MI.
Responsibilities:
· Site wide plumbing maintenance work as required.
· Site wide Concrete and masonry repairs as needed
· Building exterior sealing to keep buildings water tight.
· Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed.
· Maintain exterior grounds as needed.
· Change light bulbs, interior, and exterior, as needed.
· Ability to read equipment manuals and follow manufacturer instructions on performing equipment maintenance.
· Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
· Complete requested work orders from customers.
· Work safely following company safety protocols.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of working experience in facilities maintenance.
- Basic understanding of electrical, masonry, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Location: Southfield, MI (48033)
Pay Rate: $18-21/hour
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM; weekends as needed with overtime
Length of Assignment: Contract
