Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Escrow Officer to join our team and facilitate smooth real estate transactions. Duties
- Manage the entire escrow process, including opening, processing, and closing real estate transactions efficiently and accurately
- Review and verify all documentation such as purchase agreements, loan documents, contracts, and title reports to ensure compliance
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and clients to gather necessary information and facilitate communication throughout the transaction
- Ensure all escrow funds are properly collected, disbursed, and documented while adhering to banking regulations.
- Conduct thorough title searches, lien checks, and escrow account reconciliations to prevent discrepancies or legal issues
- Prepare detailed closing statements, contracts, and other legal documents while maintaining accuracy with 10-key typing skills and basic math proficiency
- Maintain comprehensive records of all transaction activities for audit purposes and future reference
Qualifications
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately under pressure
- Prior experience working with escrow accounts or in a real estate closing environment is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Willing to train the right individual to join our team
