Responsibilities of a Medical Receptionist at the Center for Digestive Health include:
- Greeting and checking in patients for Endoscopic procedures
- Using computer based charting system for documentation and scheduling patients procedures
- Answer phone. Takes and communicates messages to the appropriate party according to priority and performs follow-up as needed.
- Creates patient chart packets and performs insurance pre-authorization and verification of benefits
- Checks for History and Physical in computer
- Maintains patient confidentiality as outlined in the HIPPA regulations
- Receives/logs/distributes specimen results
- Orders specimen supplies and Oxygen supplies from vendors
- Collects data as needed for Quality improvement program
- Other duties as assigned.
Looking for a dependable, flexible team player with a positive attitude interested in bringing their talents to our group. Must have a good sense of humor. NO nights, weekends or Holidays! Benefits available after 60 days. Uniforms provided after 90 days.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Required)
