What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Counselor position at Center for Disability Services?
Resident Counselors are responsible for assisting, promoting, and providing independence in the daily treatment, care, and services of the individuals we support. They are also responsible for helping implement the individuals’ personalized habilitation services, which are outlined in their personalized care plan. Resident Counselors serve as members of the individuals’ planning, implementation, and interdisciplinary teams. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. One (1) full year of work experience with an employer is preferred. Full-time, Part-time, Relief, and additional hours are available for locations throughout the Capital District. Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to apply for this position.

$1.00/hr differential paid for hours worked between Friday (3pm) to Monday (9am)
