 The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs.  CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community. CFCE expanded in early 2012 to include a health care center, The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center.

The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), offers an array of preventative health services including but not limited to: general and sick care for adults and children, OB/GYN, dental services, nutrition programs and mental health and substance abuse treatment for children and adults.

As a Director of Behavioral Health Services, you will be responsible for the professional leadership, overall administration, management and operations of the outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for children, adolescents and adults.

 Some of the Functions Include:

• Oversee the daily operations of the mental health, substance abuse, targeted case management and parenting services.
• Provide oversight of all referral and intake operations and the facilitation of referrals to other services.
• Provide direct supervision to clinical supervisors and certified substance abuse treatment staff.
• Ensure compliance with all funding and accreditation standards and regulations, as well as program specific policies and procedures.
• Develop and update policies and procedures in accordance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements and ensure staff training and implementation of the policies and procedures.
• Ensures that FQHC practices are compliant with regulations, licensures, credentials and contractual stipulations.
• Ensure clinical privileging requirements are met for all licensed independent providers pursuant to the health clinic’s Privileging Policy.
• Provide consistent and direct performance feedback and corrective action as needed for all program staff.
• Monitor case assignments and staffing patterns to ensure appropriate caseload mix and required level of service to clients.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and goals.
• Oversee the integration and coordination between medical and behavioral health services.
• Works closely with the Chief Medical Officer to provide oversight for the integration of health services, encompassing comprehensive primary care, outpatient substance abuse treatment and a diverse range of mental health services.
• Plan, organize and/or present in-service trainings to staff and foster parents.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related Behavioral Health Science Degree.
• Licensure required: Licensed Clinical Social Work, Licensed Mental Health Counselor or equivalent.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in chemical dependency preferred.
• Experience in policy areas related to healthcare, community health and human services.
• Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare and regulatory/credentialing criteria and standards.
• Ability to provide leadership and team management to staff.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and make independent judgments and decisions.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including presentation skills.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
