Center of Hope Foundation is looking for adults who have varying availability to work directly with adults with intellectual disabilities. If you want to make a difference everyday in someone's life, this is the position for you.
Residential Direct Support Professionals will be responsible for the safety and comfort of those individuals living within the group home. This may include but is not limited to assisting with hygiene, budgeting, shopping, driving to and from doctors appointments, cleaning the home, and many other things.
To be considered you must be able to lift over 50lbs repeatedly as well as be able to bend and pivot often. You must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. You must be 21 and have had a valid drivers license for over three years. You must be able to pass a drug test (including Marijuana) and be available for daily contact by telephone. English communication is a must and you must adhere to agency and Department of Developmental Services regulations and guidlines.
