Medical Office Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
Greet patients on arrival, schedule appointments; maintain records and accounts.
Welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
Keep patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
Maintaining the reception area.
Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
Update patients’ financial information; recording and collecting patient charges.
Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies
Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Multi-tasking, Multi-line telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Word Processing, Professionalism, Quality Focus.
Prior experience as a Medical Receptionist is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
