Description The Dispensing Pharmacist registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. The Dispensing Pharmacist work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. Responsibilities The Dispensing Pharmacist ensures adherence to quality assurance standards, accurate tracking techniques and a review process prior to shipping medications to patients. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelors of Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy Licensed as a PHARMACIST in state of Ohio Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive Proficient with computers Must be able to work Sun - Thurs 5:30pm to 2:00am.
