About the opportunity:
If you are passionate about making a difference, we are looking for a Quality Control Inspector. This is a full time 100% on-site position located at the West Chester, PA headquarters. This position reports to the Senior Director, Quality & Regulatory.
Where you will make an impact:
· Responsible for performing inspection and testing including incoming inspection of finished goods and raw materials. Also responsible for maintaining inspection documentation.
· Responsible for assisting in maintaining the non-conforming material system including creating non-conforming material reports, addressing non-compliances and maintaining non-conforming material log.
· Responsible for working within the document control system. Perform new and revised document release reviews as part of document change notice system.
· Assist in internal audits as required and assists in other quality functions such as design control, manufacturing changes/process validations, etc.
· Assist in regulatory functions as required. Responsibilities likely to include routine supply of documentation to distributors/regulators as requested.
· Assist with minimizing backlog inspections for field inventory.
· Develop collaborative work relationships with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
What you will bring:
· High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
· 1-3 years’ experience in a regulated environment performing quality control inspections.
· Experience reading engineering drawings.
· Excellent attention to detail, communication and relationship building skills.
· Proficient in navigating computer systems.
