Inventory Specialist - Appliance and Parts Warranty and Returns
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the warranty and return claims for our appliances and parts inventory, as well as tracking and ordering inventory. Responsibilities:
* Manage all warranty and return claims for appliances and parts inventory.
* Process incoming and outgoing shipments of inventory.
* Track inventory levels and order products as needed.
* Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
* Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
* Communicate with vendors and customers regarding inventory status and product availability.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth inventory operations.
* Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
* Assist in the development of inventory-related policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
* 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the appliance or HVAC industry.
* Knowledge of appliance and HVAC parts and appliances preferred.
* Experience in handling warranty and return claims.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and inventory management software.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
* Stand for long periods of time.
