What are the responsibilities and job description for the Risk Analyst position at Central Bancompany?
This position can work from either of the Jefferson City, Columbia, Springfield, St. Louis, or Kansas City markets.
Provide analytic and modeling support for Holding Company Credit Administration as well as the bankcard Department.
Support the account acquisition; account maintenance; fraud and loss mitigation functions.
Utilize various query tools, SQL, data management and statistical tools.
Use query and modeling tools for the purpose of customer and product segmentation.
Provide summarized results to support existing and proposed account management; acquisition and loss mitigation strategies.
Present findings and results to the Bankcard Management team and/or Senior Management.
Create and develop routine and Adhoc reports for management.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, economics, mathematics, computer science, or related field preferred.
Basic understanding of statistical analysis.
Ability to quantify and summarize information from multiple databases of various formats.
Fluency in SQL preferred.
Demonstrable knowledge of SQL and Databases preferred.
Ability to create and develop routine and Adhoc reports.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite of software including PowerPoint.
Ability to work with both technical and business individuals.
Experience working with business team members to translate business requirements into technical requirements and analytic processes.
Ability to create multiple scenarios for analysis and review (champion/challenger etc.).
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Highly self-motivated, results oriented with proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong written communication and presentation skills.
