Job Overview:
As a Medical Assistant you will work closely with the medical oncology staff, assisting in patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. The right candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Essential Functions
- Rooming patients, taking vitals and documenting patient information in medical record
- Preparing treatment rooms for patients
- Assisting with scheduling appointments; managing insurance requests, medical records, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Setting up virtual appointments for patients
- Sending out physician notes when requested
- Provides necessary support to front desk staff
- Effective communication with all clinic staff to maintain efficient operations and excellent patient care
Job Experience
- Basic proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel functions
- Previous experience in a medical office environment preferred
- CNA / CMA certification or relevant experience a plus

Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30 pm. No late nights or weekends.
