Responsibilities
- Monitor and records vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
- Administers chemotherapy, injections and draws lab as ordered.
- Dispense medications as directed by the physician.
- Assist Physician during follow-ups and new consults.
- Organize and execute treatment plan for patients' chemotherapy, lab work, and supportive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Serves as intermediary for patient communication.
- Educate patients and families on chemotherapy side effects, treatment plan, and home care instructions.
Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BSN), Associate's degree (ADN), or completion of an accredited nursing program.
