SUMMARY
The role of the teacher is to teach students to read, write, problem solve, compute, how to find information, how to think, how to work co-operatively with others, and to meet all district required curriculum objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Certification:
Must have an Elementary K-6 or Grades PK-4 Certification.
Knowledge and Skills:
Possess a broad knowledge of all fitness areas with specific ability to perform each of the physical activities taught; group dynamics and interpersonal skills. Possesses knowledge of physiological, emotional, and educational behavioral development of children; classroom developmentally appropriate management skills which include discipline as well as record keeping and assessment abilities.
Abilities:
Problem solving, imagination, patience, reasoning, creativity, judgment, and analytical abilities.
Pay Rate: $58,639.00 - $92,815.00 (based on highest earned degree and years of experience)
