- Coordinate the harvest process, including planning, execution, and monitoring
- Work closely with farmers and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor stored grain condition to maintain quality and quantity
Requirements
- Federal grain inspection/weighing license or ability to obtain
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as trucks, tractors, etc.
- Basic mechanical experience and aptitude
Working Conditions
This position requires working in multiple locations, with exposure to external elements, temperature extremes, heights, confined spaces, and other variable environments. Hours worked will vary greatly with the season and workload, including nights and weekends, especially during harvest season.
