JOB OVERVIEW: CICP Director – Data and AnalytiXIN will serve as a leader at CICP and lead the development of AnalytiXIN as well as support other key data initiatives. The Director – Data and AnalytiXIN will work with CICP, CICP’s branded initiatives, and our industry and academic partners to meet the objectives of the AnalytiXIN program and further Indiana’s data ecosystem. The Director – Data and AnalytiXIN will work under the direction of CICP’s Executive Vice President of Data and AnalytiXIN. The position will work in collaboration with CICP and the branded initiatives to create and facilitate strategies to strengthen Indiana’s competitiveness in AI and data analytics through AnalytiXIN. This position requires a deep understanding of data analytics, advanced industries, and universities and the ability to employ strategic thinking, collaboration, analytical skills, and project management. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Program Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Execute the next phase of the AnalytiXIN program in close partnership with the CICP EVP of Data and AnalytiXIN, TechPoint, and other CICP Branded Initiatives.
- Provide coordination for major programs, initiatives, workshops, and annual events.
- Represent the organization in select meetings, advisory groups, or partner discussions.
- Monitor project progress, surface risks, and support team members in meeting deadlines and deliverables.
- Work closely with team members to ensure alignment across university, industry, and community-facing work.
- Provide guidance, context, and direction to staff leading external engagement efforts.
- Step in to support relationship-building activities when needed, particularly for high-priority partners or emerging opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by sharing updates, insight, and relevant context.
- Identify emerging opportunities or gaps across the AnalytiXIN program and recommend ways to strengthen collaboration and expand impact.
- Lead the planning and execution of major events, workshops, and convenings, including agenda development, speaker coordination, and logistics oversight.
- Support team members and contractors who manage smaller meetings or working groups by providing structure and tools.
- Ensure that convenings advance strategic goals, generate meaningful engagement, and strengthen university-industry relationships.
- Craft clear, compelling written materials for executive leadership, external partners, and cross-sector audiences.
- Develop polished communications such as briefings, talking points, presentations, partner summaries, and event materials.
- Lead the completion of formal reports to funders, including working with the internal team and contractors on gathering inputs, drafting narrative sections, and managing review cycles.
- Maintain organized systems for tracking program outcomes, activities, and metrics to support reporting readiness.
- Oversee internal administrative processes that keep programs running smoothly, including scheduling, communications, and follow-up.
- Support budgeting processes by gathering projected spend, monitoring expenses, and coordinating vendors, contractors, or partners.
- Maintain organized systems for tracking activities and program documentation.
- Support CICP and its branded initiatives with data related initiatives such as Conexus’ AI Conductor and other sector-based data products.
- Support CICP and its branded initiatives in making data-driven business decisions and demonstration of its overall impact on the community and state.
- Support CICP with internal AI education
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with program management and execution.
