Job Summary :
As a Packer at Central Moloney you will play a crucial role in collecting and packing Component products to Company and customer specifications.
This position will be training Monday through Thursday 5 : 00 am 3 : 30 pm and moving to 3rd shift (Friday Sunday 5 : 00 am 5 : 30 pm) starting November 1st.
Key Responsibilities :
- Interpreting drawings backlog reports and packing instructions.
- Identifying packaged boxes or crates with personal identification as specified by the Company.
- Labeling packages and / or crates to specifications.
- Stage customer shipments and attach shipping labels bills of laden and all export documents.
- Inspect personal packing work to ensure quality.
- Manage finished goods inventory.
- Generate bar code labels and reverse stock entries.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Collect parts and pack parts for shipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in packing and shipping preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and keen observational skills.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
- 1 year’s previous experience in packaging or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related role preferred.
Additional Information :
- This is a fulltime position with $17 per hour starting pay.
- We are targeting shift hiring for Friday through Sunday 5 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m.; however the shift is subject to change per business needs.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Lifting : Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Environment : Work in a facility with loud noise extreme temperatures and environmental stressors.
- Physical Activities : Sit stand walk bend climb crouch reach and grasp as needed.
- PPE : Wear the required PPE including eye and hearing protection gloves and safety toe footwear.
- Dexterity and Vision : Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close distance color peripheral depth perception and focus adjustment).
- Stamina : Stand for long shifts.
- Skills : Effective communication basic math skills and teamwork.
- Safety : Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.
