Springfield School District has an opening for an Associate Business Manager.
The Associate Business Manager both supports and oversees the financial operations of the school district by assisting the Executive Director of Operations in planning, organizing, and directing fiscal services. This position ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, contributes to budget development, while overseeing payroll, purchasing, accounting, and audit functions. The role plays a key part in maintaining fiscal responsibility and operational transparency.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field, with a Master's degree preferred. Three or more years of experience in public sector finance, preferably in K-12 education.
The successful candidate will also have knowledge of PA school finance regulations and PDE reporting requirements; familiarity with eFinance fund accounting and budgeting software; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
Any offer is contingent upon receipt of satisfactory Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance and state and federal criminal background clearances. This is a 12 month position with Act 93 benefits.
