What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Central Peninsula General Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: Manages individualized, goal-directed physical therapy care through use of physical therapy processes and principles in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and within the Scope of Practice Act for the State of Alaska.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree or Doctorate preferred
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Alaska
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute care rehabilitation, and outpatient rehabilitation
- Must possess overall rehabilitation knowledge and skills.
PREFERRED:
- 2 years of Physical Therapy experience in a healthcare/medical setting
