What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Services Assistant position at Central Peninsula Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides administrative support in Behavioral Health. Functions to ensure compliance with the requirements of third-party payers and assist with ongoing quality improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- One year clerical office experience
- Posses strong customer service skills/interpersonal interactions
- Ability to handle difficult and angry people constructively
- Excellent computer skills with experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
PREFERRED:
- Three years of relevant experience in a healthcare environment and working knowledge of medical terminology
