What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian position at Central Peninsula Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: The Outpatient Registered Dietitian provides and coordinates outpatient clinical nutrition services for patients of the Diabetes Center. The Outpatient Dietitian will coordinate nutritional care with the physicians and other departments or organizations as needed. The Outpatient Dietitian will provide nutrition education and support to various community organizations and may act as a consultant for special projects. This position will participate in quality improvement programs concerning clinical services.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition
- Completion of a Dietetic Internship
- State of Alaska Dietitian Licensure
- Registered Dietitian from the American Dietetic Association
- BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association
