At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. To achieve our mission, we need exceptionally talented, innovative, and driven people to help us reduce risks on the Hanford Site by removing some of the most hazardous waste streams and facilities in the Department of Energy (DOE) complex. Responsibilities of an IAES Executive Assistant include, but are not limited to, supporting the Project in the following areas:

  • Providing administrative support to the Director, Deputy Director, and staff of the Inner Area End States (IAES) Project.
  • Thinking creatively, focusing on multiple priorities, and having a thorough understanding of project and company practices.
  • Tracking project commitments (RL and company) and coordinating the correspondence deliverables.
  • Coordinating and generating presentations for the company, client, and regulators.
  • Implementing administrative process improvement opportunities within IAES.
  • Taking on miscellaneous administrative assignments as they occur.
  • Understanding and complying with the project and company safe work practices.
  • Maintaining effective communication within the organization and with the customer while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • Acting as the liaison between the executive and other company executives as well as interfacing with all levels of staff within the project, company, RL, and regulators.
  • Handling sensitive material, maintaining confidentiality, prioritizing, & scheduling individuals accordingly.

Basic Qualifications
* High School diploma or GED plus more than 10 years related experience.
  • Microsoft Office applications.
  • US Citizen.
  • CPCCo is a Federal Government Contractor and therefore required to comply with Federally mandated COVID-19 safety protocols. CPCCo employees are required to attest to and provide verification that they are fully vaccinated

Desired Qualifications
* Understanding of CPCCo and/or other DOE site administrative policies, procedures, and expectations, including the ability to understand and meet Company Correspondence procedures and Correspondence Control processes.

  • Able to work in a fast paced and demanding atmosphere.
