What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weave Manager position at Central Textiles, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
*Maximize productivity while minimizing seconds/waste and ensuring all quality standards are met.
*Supervises and manages daily activity of 25 plus associates to include performance, discipline, attendance, and job assignment.
*Ensure all jobs are covered and running at full efficiency adjusting labor as needed.
*Manage and modify labor and workload in accordance to approved labor budget.
*Patrols all areas of production watching for accurate operation of the jobs and safe work practices and offers guidance/direction where needed.
*Completes all paperwork including timesheets, production reports, warpout reports and manages warp board to determine warp-out schedule.
*Must be able to understand and preform all aspects of the weaving and slashing department.
*Notify upper management of any problems that may arise that require additional assistance.
*Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures and ensue all safety rules are followed.
*Report any unsafe acts or conditions to Human Resources immediately.
*Teamwork, collaboration and adaptability to changing work environment and business needs
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises Team Associates. Responsibilities include: planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and assisting in disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Assists with interviewing, hiring, and training employees
Prefer: Experience in Supervisor in Weave area
