SUMMARY
As an Elevator Superintendent at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for proper grain storage, conditioning, blending, loading, unloading and practicing good housekeeping practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Helps ensure that all location facilities and equipment meet all Federal, State and OSHA regulations.
- Performs grain receiving, sampling and grading.
- Assures proper grain storage and condition.
- Efficiently operates grain dryer.
- Responsible for completing by-monthly grain inventories and reconciling variances.
- Blends grain for proper loading.
- Maintains good housekeeping to reduce chance of fire or dust collection.
- Greets and assists customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Performs general maintenance duties involving location property, facilities and equipment.
- Plans, assigns and directs work of subordinates.
- Completes performance appraisals, rewards employees, disciplines employees, addresses complaints and resolves employee problems in conjunction with the division heads.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- One to two years’ experience in a related field required. Proven history of delivery of results required.
