Job Qualifications and Responsibilities
Our power sports dealership is seeking a service writer to join our team. The right candidate will be available to work Tuesday through Saturday; 40-45 hours a week, have strong attention to detail, and be able to multi-task. Knowledge of the power sports industry is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Compensation will be based on experience.
- Greet customers in a timely and professional manner
- Schedule service appointments
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical problems by asking customer to provide details about their machine
- Write repair orders, which include accurate customer information, parts, labor, and pricing
- Keep detailed notes on each repair order
- Follow-up with customers on status of repairs
- Cashier repair orders; explain work completed and charges
- Submit warranty claims
