What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Advancement position at Central Wisconsin Christian School?
The Office of Advancement advances the mission, purposes, and goals of Central Wisconsin Christian School through fundraising and partnerships, strategic communications, volunteer leadership support, and alumni and community engagement.
The Director of Advancement is a senior member of the CWC leadership team and is responsible for:
- Leading and managing fundraising strategies and activities to support the organization's mission and goals.
- Creating and executing a strategic plan to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors.
- Managing a portfolio of individual donors and collaborate with colleagues to facilitate the major and planned gift pipelines.
- Guiding the creation of public relations materials and organize meetings with business and civic groups for the purpose of explaining Christ-centered education.
- Providing guidance on alumni relations and supervise and support advancement staff.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Committed Christian aligned with CWC’s mission and Reformed values.
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 7 years experience in executive-level administration.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with digital tools including FACTS, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and communication platforms.
- Discretion, integrity, and professionalism in handling confidential matters.
- Willingness to enroll school-age children at CWC (if applicable).
