Our new Cardiovascular Interventional suite offers the complete integration of leading-edge imaging and technology to diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular disease and other conditions using minimally invasive alternatives to surgical procedures. Our ‘Suite” team consists of expert Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Radiology technologists and Registered Nurses collaborating to provide innovative personalized care to our community.
The Cardiovascular Data and Quality Coordinator acts as a resource to track, trend and coordinate data and performance measures for the Cardiovascular Service Line through the development of EPIC reporting, NCDR, VQI and Accreditation registries. The role includes but is not limited to working closely with education and hospital units to drive societal standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Assists and reports to Cardiovascular Services Quality and Data Manager
- Coordinates data and performance measures within the Cardiovascular Service Line
- Abstract data and report outcomes for VQI, NCDR and Accreditation
- Attends Registry in person and on line meetings
- Tracks and trends clinical documentation and standards of care for the Cardiovascular, Endovascular and lnterventional service line
- Assists quality manager to develop processes to ensure the delivery of evidenced based practices in alignment with regulatory and societal guidelines and standards of care
- Assist quality manager in development of policies and procedures
- Develops EPIC reports for the utilization of quality tracking and trending
- Maintains dashboards for Cardiovascular, Endovascular and lnterventional Radiology service lines
- Assist in the implementation of new data and quality registries VQI (TCAR, Carotid, Endovascular and Aortic)
- Promotes innovation within clinical practice and seeks opportunities to bring new clinical knowledge into practice
- Participates in ACC/SCAI conferences and poster presentations
- Development of new programs by assisting leadership and quality manager to drive standards of care
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Nursing, Radiologic, Cardiovascular, Cardiopulmonary Technology, Endovascular)
- Master's or certification preferred
- Registered Nurse, Radiologic Technologist, or Cardiovascular Technologist
- Strong Excel and Word
- Experience in EPIC report building preferred
