Location: Roybal, GA

Job Summary:

Exchange Engineer SME in support of the CDC MTS Program

Responsibilities:

Manages Exchange Admin Centers (EACs) that are used for Exchange and Active Directory administration tasks needed to support the Exchange system.
Our Exchange Engineer manages the hybrid configuration of CDC’s Exchange Office 365 and servers CDC<>O365 to ensure message delivery is occurring
Monitor and troubleshoot CDC’s Exchange message queues to ensure messages are always flowing from CDC’s on- premises Exchange to Microsoft O365 and from Microsoft O365 to internet recipients.
The Exchange Engineer – SME configures CDC Exchange servers to securely send email to the next hop destination and internet email provider as specified by CDC
Configures the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) connection using an appropriate Transport Layer Security (TLS) standard so electronic mail is adequately encrypted during transport for specified domains.
Manages CDC Exchange Edge SMTP servers that provide SMTP services for CDC applications and devices.
Installs/updates CDC provided digital certificates for all CDC Exchange servers on an annual basis.
Interfaces with the Unified Comm Engineer - SME for overall direction.
Coordinates with the Telecom System, DAS, and Cable teams on issue resolution or projects that involve each or all the work areas.
Coordinates and resolves user issues from the CDC Help Desk daily.
