Fire Alarm Inspector
Division 17, Augusta, GA
Summary
Responsible for inspecting buildings to locate hazardous conditions and fire code violations, performing testing and inspection of fire alarm and fire safety systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct inspections and test fire alarm systems.
- Report problems or discrepancies resulting from the inspection.
- Prepare accurate and timely service-call tickets for submission to service/operations.
- Inform Service department of customer needs.
- Interface with and advise customer of test results.
Additional Requirements
Pre-employment drug screen and clean MVR.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED; 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. NICET Level II or III preferred.
Computer Skills
Microsoft Office, Word & Excel.
