Responsibilities
- Maintain and safeguard each family/student’s right to privacy, respect and confidentiality.
- Assist the Classroom Teacher and/or other instructional staff as they utilize music within the educational process.
- Assist the Classroom Teacher and/or other instructional staff in the selection of music to achieve educational objectives.
- Assist the Classroom Teacher and/or other instructional staff in maintaining an inventory of audio equipment, music selections, etc.
- Attend and participate in appropriate professional development training as directed.
- Successfully complete all required orientations and trainings as directed by the Principal, Handicapped School.
- Perform additional related duties as requested by the Principal.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in music therapy or its equivalent preferred
- Experience utilizing music to enhance learning
