What You’ll Build

• A multimodal human foundation model: text, speech, facial expression, body language—no silos.
• AI that understands fine-grained human signals (like a hesitant pause or a raised eyebrow) and interprets them in context.
• Lifelike, responsive avatars—expressions, gestures, and tone evolving frame by frame to deliver genuine, human-like interactions.
• Move from research breakthroughs to real-world systems used by millions.

Who You Are

• PhD (or equivalent experience) in speech synthesis (text-to-speech, speech-to-speech, audio generation) or related fields; a track record of pushing the research frontier.
• Deep learning expert: you own the ML pipeline, from data wrangling and prototyping to large-scale training and benchmarking.
• Thrive on blank-page problems—you don’t wait for a task list; you create your own path.
• Passionate about rapidly iterating from research to production.
• Write clean, maintainable code your future self will thank you for.
