As the Health Information Coordinator you are responsible for gathering resident data for internal/external parties all while following HIPAA and other standards of practice for health information services. You will serve as the point of contact for residents and families regarding health information matters.
Responsibilities
- The Health Information Coordinator maintains state compliance of charts and billing records released for revenue.
- The Health Information Coordinator assists with gathering data from electronic health records for the team.
- The Health Information Coordinator audits and maintains charts effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience in health information services
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated team player
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
