Job Summary:
The F&I Manager at Cerritos Nissan & Infiniti is responsible for overseeing the finance and insurance operations of the dealership. This is a full-time, hourly sales position in the automotive industry. The role is primarily focused on providing excellent customer service while maximizing dealership profits through the sale of finance and insurance products. The F&I Manager will work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process for customers.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of $100,000 to $200,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Present and sell finance and insurance products to customers, including extended warranties, vehicle service contracts, and gap insurance
- Develop and maintain relationships with lenders to secure competitive financing options for customers
- Work with sales team to ensure all customer paperwork is complete and accurate
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to finance and insurance sales
- Train and mentor sales team on finance and insurance processes and products
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and market conditions
- Develop and implement strategies to increase finance and insurance sales and profitability
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries related to finance and insurance products
- Monitor and track finance and insurance metrics and report to management on a regular basis
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in automotive finance and insurance
- Demonstrated knowledge of finance and insurance products, regulations, and compliance
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office and other computer applications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
