Position SummaryThe Forklift Operator is responsible for operating industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries, and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks. This role is critical in the yard operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of products and materials. This role is based out of our Anaheim Operations Office location. We are in need of someone with an open work schedule.Work hours: Monday-Friday; 9:00am-6:00pm.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSafely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the facilityMove goods packed on pallets or in crates to designated storage areasEnsure that loads are properly secured and balancedKeep accurate records of materials loaded and unloadedAssist in inventory counts and stock rotationPerform daily safety and maintenance checks on the forklift before operationReport any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisorsAdhere to all safety guidelines and procedures at all timesEnsure a clean and organized work area to prevent accidentsWork closely with warehouse staff and supervisors to coordinate tasksCommunicate effectively to ensure smooth operationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred but not requiredMinimum of 1-2 years' experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageousValid forklift operator certificationStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and organizational skillsWork Environment and Physical DemandsWork is performed in an outdoor facility with exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, and dustRequires standing, bending, and lifting materials up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to perform repetitive motions and manual labor tasksVisual acuity to operate machinery and identify materials accuratelyUse of PPE as required by facility guidelines and adherence to safety practices are required
