We are currently seeking a part time Office Assistant, with the opportunity for permanent employment with our company. After 90-day review, our company offers Health Benefits, Paid Holidays and 401 K. Part Time work hours for are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The starting pay is up to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience. We are looking for someone who is willing to get involved in all aspects of the business and help us grow. The amount of responsibility and personal growth is up to you.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of administrative duties, such as
- Generate e-emails, spreadsheets, and forms.
- Database entry, and record-keeping.
- General office duties as needed/required.
- Assist with billing by preparing invoices; maintain client databases; track accounts.
- Collections and following up with customers on past invoices.
- Assist with organization of procedures.
- Perform other office duties as assigned.
- Creating supplier and vendor bills in system.
- Manage permit process.
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages.
- Perform receptionist duties when needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role.
- Working knowledge of office equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the aptitude to learn new software and systems.
- Experience with QuickBooks preferred.
- Ability to wear multiple hats as needed.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability.
- Solid interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma
