What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher position at CESA 7 Head Start 0-5?
CESA 7 Head Start 0-5 is looking for individuals who are knowledgeable about young children and are skilled at guiding their development in an early childhood, preschool classroom setting or are eager to develop these skills! QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a High School diploma, or GED/HSED. If needed, additional training will be provided to complete child care licensing requirements. Willingness to begin Child Development Associate or begin coursework toward Associates Degree in Early Childhood within one year is required. Applicants with a CDA or AA in Early Childhood and/or experience working in Head Start, 4K, or a licensed child care center will be given hiring preference. Parents of young children who are or have been enrolled in Head Start are encouraged to apply. This is a school year position.

Pay: $16.21 - $17.88 per hour
