SUMMARY:
Selects, packs, and ships supplies/materials to internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transports, sorts, and stocks materials. Assists customers in “Will Call”. Routinely counts inventory, cleans warehouse, operates forklift and pallet jack.
Responsibilities:- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge – Microsoft office
- One to two years related experience or equivalent preferred

Qualifications:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Follow company policies and procedures as described in the Employee Handbook concerning hours worked, vacation requests, appearance, etc.
- Arrive at work promptly and be prepared to begin work at the normal start time

- Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, pallet jack
- Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures
- Selects, packs, and ships materials and products
- Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise
- Conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed
- Maintains a safe, clean working environment
- Participates in quality improvement efforts
- Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Moderate snow removal and earlier hours on snow days mandatory
- Light weeding and maintenance of building, as well as trash pickup around property year round
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Frequently required to stand/walk
- Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
- Frequently utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, and use a keyboard
- Frequently required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
- Specialized equipment, machines used: forklift, pallet jack, hand dolly
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This position has a 90 day probationary period to ensure culture and work ethic fit.
