- Our client is a school in Washington, DC creating positive change in students' lives!
- Due to a maternity leave our client needs a Senior Accountant (AR) for 6 months.
- This position is in-office w/ free parking - parking is limited.
- Schedule is part-time - Mondays are required, flexible on the other 2 days. 20 hours a week.
- Hybrid - 2 days in the office, 1 day remote.
- Pay: $35-38/hr - depending on experience
- AR - aging, donations - pledge based
- Heavy data manipulation in Excel
- Journal Entries
- Accruals
- Ad hoc reconciliations
- 3-5 years of Senior Accountant experience is required
- School setting experience is a plus
- Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration degree required
- Sage Intacct is a plus
- Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) are required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
