Role:
To compile and reconcile data involving electronic transfer of funds and card services to maintain accounting records. Short path to management.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Performs AIC operations on deposit sorter jobs and balances sorter runs to prepared batch tickets; assures daily ACH & draft postings balance to deposit funds credits.
- Manages VISA Credit program by handling orders, captures, payments, resolving issues, etc.
- Researches problems or questions from members, clearinghouses, or correspondents.
- Ensures credit union remains in line with latest ACH rules and regulations.
- Process ATM daily withdrawals
- Prepares cash letters for presentment to correspondents and clearinghouse.
- Assists in tabulating and verifying totals and details for Accounting.
- Process SEG group payrolls and other payroll deductions.
- Responsible for ACH Annual audit.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements:
- Ensure accuracy on posting transactions.
- Accurately process wire transfers and related product orders according to established department standards.
- Promptly identify any errors on electronic transaction entries and promptly correct.
- Provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
- Keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the department.
- Stay informed on current industry trends regarding electronic fund transfers and make recommendations to improve operating efficiency in the department.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: One years to three years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
