Accounting Clerk (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Accurately process and enter payroll information into ADP, ensuring timely and compliant payment to employees.
- Maintain payroll records and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Record daily transactions and reconcile accounts as needed.
- Process expense reports and mileage reimbursements
- Assist, as needed, with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare reports and assist with audits, as necessary.
- Support the Controller with additional administrative tasks as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned by Controller.
- Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or similar role.
- Familiarity with payroll processing systems (preferably ADP).
- Experience using QuickBooks Online.
- Experience using Excel and building spreadsheets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred, but not required. Work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
