POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Position: Full-Time Clerk, Non-exempt.
Location: Champaign County Sheriff’s Office
204 East Main Street Urbana, Illinois
Duties: Performs a wide variety of responsible clerical duties associated with processing and maintaining official law enforcement and jail records.
Interacts with the public by telephone and in person.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. One-year related experience and/or
training in office/clerical duties. Must have good customer service skills
and be able to deal effectively with the public, maintain confidentially
and experience working independently. Preference will be given to candidates
who have obtained either an associate degree or bachelor’s degree in
business administration, communication, or liberal arts.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday/Normal Business Hours (37.5 hrs/week)
8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $16.01/hr
