- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a directly related field
- Minimum of two years' experience using enterprise-level applications or information systems, experience in an educational setting preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of information systems, including, but not limited to, student information systems, transportation routing systems, assessment databases, employee information systems, financial software, and other third-party data platforms
- Demonstrated proficiency with database administration, configuration, optimization, custom queries, database language (SQL), and troubleshooting issues
- Experience with data integration, reporting tools, and cross-system data synchronization
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy
- Strong customer service and communication skills during phone, email, and in person interactions
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage projects with direction, and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across departments
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable
- The entry level base salary for this position is expected to be approximately $71,598, plus highly competitive benefits, including 100% Board-paid IMRF contributions and 100% Board-paid employee-only health, dental, and term life insurance. There is a minimal employee cost for vision insurance. Additional compensation above the base is offered for those with previous successful experience.
