Position Information
The Procurement Manager will establish procurement policies for Chantecaille Beaute in partnership with key internal partners. The Procurement Manager is responsible for the definition & deployment of category strategies, establish strong relationships with suppliers and internal key stakeholders to source and negotiate vendor agreements, continuous alignment with relevant business stakeholders within the organization to maximize effective Business Partnering.
This person will be responsible for contract handling, negotiation and all procurement activities for assigned spend and suppliers within the intended Indirect categories, against the overall target to maximize the procurement value contribution (e.g. cost development, supply security, improved services, agility, innovation etc.) leveraging the full range of options available in the market. Responsible for compliance with procurement standards and processes as well as driving supplier relationship management.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and monitor procurement category strategies for various Indirect spend defined as locally or regionally sourced by procurement
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies in line with the Supply Chain roadmap to protect revenue, drive efficiency and enable growth
- Market Analysis/ Market Research, identify, document and maintain supplier pools for Indirect spend categories. Lead, analyze and present results of market tenders.
- Organize supplier biddings, RFI/RFPs & evaluate results for a supplier decision from a TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) concept
- Negotiate contracts, master agreements and commercial conditions with suppliers as required
- Strive for value creation, recommend operational/technical improvements to reinforce SC efficiency
- Collaborate with demand owners on business strategies and or project objectives to select the best suppliers with the most cost effective and or value-added solution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with very short deadlines.
- Accountable for identifying risks and opportunities involved in each sourcing process and provide contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply
- Establish and ensure compliance with procurement standards, methods, and processes for all purchasing activities
- Monitor service levels to ensure uninterrupted availability
- Provide operational support as needed for the systematic ordering of materials and services thru the defined “Purchase to Pay” process. Maintain Vendor Master Data, Purchase Info Record and Purchase Order in SAP if necessary, and archive documents in compliance with Procurement Handbook
- Responsible to achieve all required procurement KPIs in the defined areas of responsibility.
- Support various administrative procurement tasks as required (i.e. organizational training, process documentation, reporting, etc.)
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in procurement, or business management
- Prior experience with a beauty or luxury brand is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of strategic procurement experience, MUST have previous category experience in “Indirect” goods and services.
- Demonstrable use of best in class sourcing tools and techniques (RFI, RFQ, category analysis and market research
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders and vendors
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft messages by reading the audience and adjusting the messaging.
- Detail oriented with strong organization skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Analytical, strategic, structured, result-driven
- Experience working in fast paced environment with evolving deadlines
- Able to work independently and self-motivated
- Positive and open-minded team player
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities to achieve results and meet milestones with a “hands-on” approach

- Knowledge of SRM/SAP/ERP/ E-Sourcing (Ariba)/Power BI systems desirable
Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
