- This is your opportunity to join an established, private, ophthalmology practice in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. We are seeking a full time Ophthalmic Assistant or Technician for this growth opportunity position at our medical, optical, and surgical Ophthalmology practice. We are interviewing ophthamic assistants or technicians with ophthalmic experience ; certification is a plus, however not a requirement. Position requires organized multi-task skills, and candidate should possess a positive energetic professional attitude.

We are seeking a motivated person who possess a strong work ethic. Our successful candidate will join our already outstanding team and possess skills of an Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician: experience to include patient work-up and vision testing, refraction, tonometry, and visual field testing. Additional preferred skills include: A-Scan Biometry, OCT, photography, EOM’s, minor procedure assisting, and pachymetry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Every person in the office wears a mask. We supply masks to people that do not have with them. Plexiglass shields at check-in areas. Patients screened, Temperatures checked. Sanitizer readily available and used throughout the day.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Ophthalmology or Optometry: 1 year (Preferred)
