What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Planner position at Chariton Valley?
Chariton Valley has an opening for an Inventory Planner. The Inventory Planner will handle all aspects of inventory management, including ordering, receiving, counting and distribution of materials. They will be responsible for communicating with Chariton Valley contractors and Chariton Valley technicians to meet their inventory needs. The Inventory Planner will monitor and maintain inventory levels and request inventory replenishments. They will track stocking levels in all warehouses and inventory locations, replenishing those levels on a weekly basis. The working schedule will vary, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
The Inventory Planner must possess excellent communication, mathematical, and record keeping skills. The candidate must be detail oriented and be able to work well in a team environment providing support to others in the organization. The Inventory Planner must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software including word and excel and must adapt to changes in direction daily with swift action and a positive attitude. The individual will be properly trained and expected to operate equipment to load/unload inventory utilizing machinery that includes, but is not limited to, a forklift and a skid steer loader. This individual must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma with prior warehouse or inventory experience is required.
