Job Opening: Assistant Video Producer
About Charles River Media:
Charles River Media provides video production services, including in-studio and on-location shoots, post production, and virtual event/live-streaming production. We work with a diverse range of corporate, commercial, and nonprofit clients. The work is a mix of corporate and non-profit storytelling, documentaries, television commercials, product demos, event coverage, and internal and external communications for large companies. As we grow, we’re seeking an in-person Assistant Video Producer to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
At Charles River Media, everyone plays a key role, and we’re looking for an Assistant Video Producer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will assist in multiple areas of video production, both in the field and in the office, supporting production tasks, live event streaming, post production, and office management. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for video production and post production, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to contribute across various projects.
Main Roles:
- Logistics: Coordinate logistical aspects of video shoots, including scheduling, travel, location management. Assist the Operations Supervisor with budgets and project tracking.
- Production Support: Assist with various production tasks in and out of the studio including work as an Assistant Producer, Production Assistant, Teleprompter Operator, Graphics Operator, etc. (on the job training provided for these production roles).
- Post Production: Assist the CRMi Post team using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Office Management: Provide administrative support to the team, including office organization and client communication.
- Project and Media Management: Ensure that media assets and documents are organized.
- Social Media and Website Support: Capture our work onsite with behind the scenes footage and photos for use on all social media channels, including Instagram and LinkedIn. Create engaging content that highlights our projects and team for use across social media platforms, including Instagram and LinkedIn. Assist in crafting portfolio posts for our website to showcase our work.
- Executive Support: Provide assistance to the leadership team, including the CEO, with a variety of tasks, including scheduling, research, and project coordination.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
- College diploma or equivalent experience in video production or a related field
- Ability to commute to Needham Heights, MA Mon-Fri
