The Manager, Channel Marketing position is within the Schwab Asset Management (SAM) marketing team. Schwab Asset Management (SAM), the asset management arm of Charles Schwab Corporation, has over $700 billion in assets under management, and is one of the nation’s largest providers of Separately Managed Accounts, index mutual funds and ETFs. The SAM marketing team is responsible for developing effective marketing programs that promote Schwab’s proprietary SMAs, ETF and mutual fund products to financial advisors, institutions, and retail investors.

What you are good at
The Manager, Channel Marketing role is responsible for completing marketing campaigns and crafting communication material for key target audiences across a variety of digital and print channels, such as web, email and social media.
Responsibilities include:
- Client communication: Complete planned communications, making suggestions to the message and content
- Collateral: Develop and maintain marketing material that support marketing and channel goals and handling materials through the legal and compliance review process
- Event marketing support: Support initiatives to key client events
- Partner/Team collaboration: Build collaboration and socialize projects internally with team, partners and senior leadership across marketing and the business
- Developing a strong understanding of our clients, including understanding proprietary products, target audiences, business goals and sales objectives
- Routinely communicating with the marketing team and key business partners including product management, product development, marketing agencies, and sales and channel owners to socialize and complete projects
This role is within a hard-working marketing team passionate about supporting the evolving needs of the growing asset management business. The Manager, Channel Marketing will work with the broader SAM marketing team, key business partners and outside marketing agencies. This position will report to the Director, Product and Channel Marketing.
What you have
- BA/BS in Marketing, English, Communications, Finance or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of marketing experience
- Experience in the financial services industry and understanding of the asset management business preferred but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship-building skills to work with all job levels, across a broad variety of job functions and locations
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple projects at one time
- High degree of initiative to drive projects to completion
- Ability to work independently
- Flexible, adaptable, and confident with producing results in an environment of change and ambiguity
Colorado Compensation
Target Total Compensation - 87,600 - 157,600.
