What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian Consultant position at Charlotte Behavioral Health Care Inc?
- This is a contracted position, with approximately four hours a month. Additional hours as needs require.
- Responsible for all aspects of consulting with the AVP of Community Services and Dietary staff at CBHC.
- Provides guidance as needed or advised.
- Develops and provides in-service education specific to dietary and nutritional topics for facility staff.
- Reviews and provides recommendations for inpatient menu planning.
- Approves menus prior to implementation.
- Provides professional services in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing CBHC.
- Provides nutritional counseling to dietary and nursing staff to enhance meal services provided to patients and staff to include special diets and dietary restrictions, as required and requested.
- Conducts kitchen, food storage, food service areas, and dining room compliance reviews for CBHC facilities. Reports findings to AVP of Community Services and Dietary Supervisor.
