What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Perform fitting requirements as per project & drawing specs w/ some assistance
- Fabricate piece parts into sub-assembly & assembly
- Read, interpret & fabricate from blue prints with some assistance
What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- Correct measuring, proper leveling of components, burning, cutting, welding & tacking
- Rig structural or piping assemblies for handling operations
- Complete layouts & hold tolerance
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
- Practical duties including burning, cutting, welding & tacking
- Required to work at elevated heights up to 75ft
- Comply with standard concepts, practices, and quality procedures
Your Education Should Be…
High school and/or technical program
Three years’ experience in related field
Blueprint reading required
Knowledge of shop math preferred
Education may be substituted by extended experience
Your Professional Experience Should Be…
Must have knowledge of departmental operations
Must have knowledge of safety procedures and compliance
Must have knowledge of shop standards
